Our structure and members

Coastal West Sussex is a Partnership of organisations that have joined together to champion the sustainable development of the coastal communities. Putting people at the heart of regeneration and working across traditional boundaries, the Partnership is forming the foundations for future investment.

Strategic Partners

The Partnership Board is private/public partnership chaired by Henry Powell, Client Director at Inpress Plastics in Littlehampton. Caroline Wood is the Coastal West Sussex Director.

The Partnership exists to support the activities of the partner organisations, to take on roles where collaboration is most appropriate and directly assist economic regeneration projects and initiatives.

Our neighbouring partner organisations are; Croydon, Gatwick Diamond, Brighton and Hove and Rural West Sussex.

Coastal West Sussex and Greater Brighton Strategic Planning Board

The CWS and Greater Brighton Strategic Planning Board will provide a clear strategic planning vision to integrate spatial planning and infrastructure investment across the Coastal West Sussex and Greater Brighton area.

Coastal West Sussex Skills and Enterprise Group

The Coastal West Sussex Skills & Enterprise Group brings together key stakeholders and organisations with an interest in delivering learning and skills, ensuring effective businesses support/engagement and in fostering an enterprise culture across the area. Find out more in the PEOPLE section.

Coastal West Sussex Management Group

Responsible for assessing financial & performance management, the CWS Mgmt Grp manages the affairs of the full CWS Partnership Board between meetings
