Skills and Enterprise Group

The Coastal West Sussex Skills & Enterprise Group brings together key stakeholders and organisations with an interest in delivering learning and skills, ensuring effective businesses support/engagement and in fostering an enterprise culture.

The group’s key objectives will be:

  1. A learning and skills offer with a specific focus on work based and work related learning, developing the future, current and potential workforce to meet the needs of existing and prospective local businesses.
  2. Collaborative business support and employer engagement activities that maximise resources for the benefit of local employers, with a specific focus on SMEs.
  3. Fostering an enterprise culture that encourages local people to generate new ideas and opportunities, that supports start up and fledgling businesses as well as attracting inward investment.
